In the field of modern precision welding, DC high-frequency welding power supply and DC medium-frequency welding power supply are two mainstream power supply types, each with welding power supply own characteristics, and are widely used in electronics, automobiles, batteries, hardware and other industries. DC medium-frequency welding power supply usually uses an output frequency of 1kHz to 4kHz, and supplies power to the inverter module after three-phase rectification, and then the welding transformer outputs the welding current. This solution has a high energy efficiency ratio and strong welding penetration, which is suitable for welding of high thermal conductivity metals such as aluminum and stainless steel, but is slightly insufficient in ultra-fine welding and complex waveform control.


DC high-frequency welding power supply generally has an operating frequency higher than 20kHz, and DC high-frequency welding power supply response speed is faster, which can achieve more precise current waveform control, especially suitable for microelectronics, medical equipment and new energy battery industries that have extremely high requirements for welding heat control. In addition, the high-frequency characteristics make the equipment smaller, more efficient, and narrower in heat-affected zone, which helps to improve the consistency of welding quality.
