Capacitive Discharge Welder ESW 100
The ESW-100T Stored Energy Welding Power Supply, also known as a Capacitive Discharge Welder (CD Welder), is designed for high-speed and precision resistance welding applications. The system stores electrical energy in welding capacitors and releases it instantly during the welding process, providing stable and reliable welding performance.
Unlike traditional welding machines, the ESW-100T is not affected by line voltage fluctuations. The power supply gradually absorbs energy from the electrical network and stores it in capacitors. Once welding begins, the stored energy is discharged rapidly through a pulse transformer, generating a strong welding current through the welding head and workpieces.
This advanced stored energy technology ensures:
- Stable welding quality
- Fast welding speed
- Low heat input
- Minimal material deformation
- Excellent welding consistency
- Reduced electrode wear
The ESW-100T is ideal for precision welding applications such as:
- Battery tab welding
- Electronic component welding
- Stainless steel welding
- Copper and nickel welding
- Automotive parts welding
- Fine metal assembly
With its short discharge time and concentrated welding energy, the ESW-100T delivers strong weld strength while protecting sensitive materials from excessive heat damage.
Key advantages of the ESW-100T include:
- High peak welding current
- Energy-efficient operation
- Compact industrial design
- Reliable long-term performance
- Easy parameter adjustment
- Suitable for automated production lines
The ESW-100T Capacitive Discharge Welding Power Supply is widely used in electronics, battery manufacturing, automotive production, and precision metal fabrication industries where stable, fast, and high-quality welding performance is required.

Capacitive discharge power supplies are rated in accordance with the amount of energy they store and the welding speed. The energy stored, expressed in watt-seconds (joules), is the product of one-half the capacitance of the capacitor bank and the square of the applied voltage. The energy delivered to the electrodes is considerably less than this value because of losses in the primary and secondary circuits.
